Pa 12 1000mg Tab (Paracetamol) reduces fever by acting on the hypothalamus, the body's heat-regulating center. Its pain-relieving mechanism is not fully understood but is believed to involve inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes in the central nervous system, reducing prostaglandin synthesis.

Generally, for adults, a single dose of 500mg - 1000mg can be taken every 4-6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4000mg in 24 hours.
