Amlodipine: This is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

High blood pressure (hypertension)

To reduce the risk of stroke in people with high blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy (thickening of the heart's main pumping chamber)

Telmisartan + Amlodipine works by: Telmisartan: Blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels, leading to a decrease in blood pressure. Amlodipine: Relaxes blood vessels by blocking calcium channels, which reduces resistance to blood flow and lowers blood pressure.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Telmisartan + Amlodipine will be determined by your doctor based on your medical condition and response to treatment.

It is usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Common side effects include: dizziness, headache, fatigue, swelling in the ankles or feet, cough, and nasal congestion.

Serious side effects can occur, including: low blood pressure, high potassium levels, kidney problems, and liver problems.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of low blood pressure. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking Telmisartan + Amlodipine.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication should not be used during pregnancy as it can harm the unborn baby. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children.



Kidney

Your doctor may need to adjust your dosage if you have kidney problems.



Liver

Your doctor may need to adjust your dosage if you have liver problems.
