Olmesartan Medoxomil: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps relax blood vessels.

Amlodipine: A calcium channel blocker that also helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.

Chlorthalidone: A thiazide diuretic that increases urine output to reduce blood volume and blood pressure.

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), often in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with other medications.

May be used as a singlepill combination therapy to improve patient adherence.

This combination medication works synergistically to lower blood pressure. Olmesartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels by reducing calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle. Chlorthalidone increases the excretion of sodium and water from the body, reducing blood volume and pressure.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response to treatment.

Typically, it's taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not abruptly stop taking the medication; consult your doctor for proper discontinuation.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can worsen the hypotensive effects of this medication. Limit alcohol intake.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause dizziness or lightheadedness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Not recommended during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney function. Dosage adjustment may be needed.



Liver

Use with caution in patients with impaired liver function. Dosage adjustment may be needed.
