Olmesartan medoxomil: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
Cilnidipine: A calcium channel blocker that also relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
High blood pressure (hypertension)
May be used alone or in combination with other medications to lower blood pressure.
This combination medication works by relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Olmesartan blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which narrows blood vessels. Cilnidipine blocks the movement of calcium into the cells of blood vessel walls, which helps relax the blood vessels.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.
Take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not take more or less than the recommended dose.
Take this medication with or without food, but take it at the same time each day.
