Olmesartan medoxomil: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that lowers blood pressure by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels.

Amlodipine: A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Chlorthalidone: A thiazide diuretic that helps remove excess fluid and salt from the body, lowering blood pressure.

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with other medications.

May also be used to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy (enlarged heart muscle).

This combination medication works by acting on different parts of the body to lower blood pressure. Olmesartan blocks the effects of angiotensin II, which narrows blood vessels. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow. Chlorthalidone helps remove excess fluid and salt from the body, further reducing blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, between 15-30°C (59-86°F), away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of this medication is usually started low and gradually increased until the desired blood pressure is reached.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change your dosage without consulting them.

Common side effects include headache, dizziness, fatigue, swelling of the ankles and feet, and cough.

Serious side effects are less common but can include low blood pressure, kidney problems, and allergic reactions.

Alcohol Consumption

Drinking alcohol while taking this medication can increase the risk of low blood pressure and other side effects.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or lightheadedness, which can affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It can harm the unborn baby. It is also not recommended for breastfeeding mothers.



Children

This medication is not approved for use in children.



Kidney
