By blocking serotonin receptors, ondansetron prevents the signals that trigger vomiting from reaching the brain.
Store ondansetron at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Ondansetron can also be given by injection into a vein (IV) or muscle (IM).
