Esomeprazole

A proton pump inhibitor (ppi) that reduces stomach acid production.

Levosulpiride

A dopamine antagonist with prokinetic effects, improving gastric motility.

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with associated symptoms like heartburn and acid reflux.

Treatment of peptic ulcers (gastric and duodenal ulcers) in combination with appropriate antibiotics when Helicobacter pylori infection is present.

Treatment of dyspepsia (indigestion) characterized by upper abdominal discomfort, fullness, and early satiety, when associated with impaired gastric motility.

Esomeprazole inhibits the gastric proton pump, significantly reducing acid secretion. Levosulpiride acts on dopamine receptors in the gastrointestinal tract, enhancing gastric emptying and reducing upper abdominal discomfort.

Store below 30°C (86°F), protect from moisture, and keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Typically administered orally, usually once daily, before or with a meal.

Rare but serious side effects: allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), bone fractures (with long-term use), Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea

Kidney

Patients with severe kidney impairment may require dose adjustment.



Liver

Patients with severe liver impairment may require dose adjustment. May be contraindicated in cases of severe liver disease.
