Polymyxin B

Chloramphenicol inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing them from multiplying. Polymyxin B disrupts the bacterial cell membrane, causing cell death.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage and frequency of administration depend on the severity of the infection and the patient's age, weight, and overall health.

This medication is usually given intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle) by a healthcare professional.

Children
