Cefepime

Cefepime is a type of antibiotic called a cephalosporin.It works by killing bacteria that cause infections.Cefepime is available as an injectable solution and is typically given intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle).

Cefepime is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including:

Pneumonia
