Chlordiazepoxide

Trifluoperazine

Chlordiazepoxide enhances the inhibitory effects of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), a neurotransmitter that reduces neuronal excitability. Trifluoperazine blocks dopamine receptors in the brain, thereby reducing the effects of excessive dopamine activity that contribute to psychotic symptoms. The combined effect provides both anxiolytic and antipsychotic actions.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage should be determined by a physician and individualized based on patient needs and response.

The medication is typically administered orally.
