Beclometasone

Is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the airways.

Formoterol

Is a long-acting beta2-agonist that helps relax and open the airways, making it easier to breathe.

Beclometasone + Formoterol is used to treat and prevent asthma in adults and children over 6 years old. It helps control symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing.

0 Beclometasone works by reducing inflammation in the airways, preventing the airways from becoming narrow and inflamed.1 Formoterol works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe.

Store the medication at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C.

Protect it from light and moisture.

Keep the inhaler out of reach of children and pets.

Do not use the inhaler after the expiry date printed on the label.

The dosage and frequency of use will vary depending on your individual needs. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

This medication is usually taken twice daily, morning and evening.

You will need to shake the inhaler well before each use.

Breathe in slowly and deeply through the mouth while pressing down on the inhaler.

Common side effects include hoarseness, dry mouth, and thrush (yeast infection) in the mouth.

Less common side effects include headache, nausea, and muscle aches.

Rare side effects can include serious allergic reactions, such as hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, and difficulty breathing.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of side effects from this medication. Talk to your doctor about whether it is safe for you to consume alcohol while taking Beclometasone + Formoterol.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you experience side effects such as dizziness or blurred vision, you should avoid driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not recommended to use this medication during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless the benefits outweigh the risks.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 6 years old.



Kidney

This medication is generally safe for people with kidney problems. However, your doctor may need to adjust your dosage.



Liver

This medication is generally safe for people with liver problems. However, your doctor may need to adjust your dosage.
