Nintedanib

Nintedanib is the active ingredient in the medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

Nintedanib is used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a serious lung disease that causes scarring of the lungs.

It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Nindanib 150 Cap (Nintedanib) works by blocking the activity of certain proteins that are involved in the growth of blood vessels and the development of scar tissue in the lungs. By inhibiting these proteins, nintedanib helps to slow down the progression of IPF.

Nintedanib is not approved for use in children.

Nintedanib may affect kidney function. Your doctor may need to monitor your kidney function while you are taking this medication.
