Nimodipine is primarily used to prevent brain damage after a subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding in the space between the brain and the skull).
Nimodec 30mg Tab (Nimodipine) works by relaxing blood vessels in the brain, which helps to improve blood flow and reduce the risk of further damage. It blocks the entry of calcium into the smooth muscle cells of the blood vessels, preventing them from constricting.
Store Nimodipine at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of Nimodipine will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical condition.
It is typically administered orally, usually three to four times a day.
