Azelastine Hydrochloride

An antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a chemical released by the body during allergic reactions.

Fluticasone Propionate

A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the nasal passages.

Relief of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults and children 5 years of age and older.

Relief of symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis (yearround allergies) in adults and children 5 years of age and older.

This combination medication works by blocking the action of histamine (azelastine hydrochloride) and reducing inflammation (fluticasone propionate) in the nasal passages. This helps to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, and congestion.

Store at room temperature between 20-25°C (68-77°F). Keep away from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.

The usual dose is 2 sprays in each nostril twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Your doctor may adjust your dosage based on your individual needs and response to treatment.

Do not use more than the recommended dosage. This medicine is for nasal use only. Do not swallow it.

Common side effects include headache, nosebleed, and dry nose.

Serious side effects are rare, but may include:

Allergic reactions (difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat)

Nasal irritation or burning

Change in sense of smell

Alcohol Consumption

It is not recommended to consume alcohol while using this medication as it may increase the risk of side effects.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medicine may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication should be used during pregnancy only if the benefits outweigh the potential risks. Consult your doctor for advice. This medication may pass into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.



Children

This medicine is safe for children 5 years of age and older. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.



Kidney

This medication is not recommended for people with severe kidney disease.



Liver

This medication is not recommended for people with severe liver disease.
