Tranexamic Acid

Tranexamic acid is the active ingredient in this medication.It is available in different formulations, such as tablets, capsules, injections, and topical solutions.

Heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia)

Nexrel Injection (Tranexamic Acid) works by preventing the breakdown of a protein called fibrin, which helps to form blood clots. By preventing fibrin breakdown, it helps to stop or reduce bleeding.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children.

The dosage of tranexamic acid will vary depending on the condition being treated and the patient's individual needs.

Take the medication exactly as directed. Do not take more or less than prescribed, and do not stop taking it unless instructed by your doctor.
