Paracetamol

The active pain-relieving and fever-reducing ingredient.

Nexpar 250mg Syp 100ml (Paracetamol) reduces fever by acting on the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that regulates body temperature. Its pain-relieving mechanism is not fully understood, but it's believed to inhibit the production of prostaglandins, substances that sensitize nerve endings to pain.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Take with or without food, as directed on the packaging.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

Always follow the dosage recommendations specifically for children, as provided on the child-specific paracetamol formulations. Never give children adult doses.



Kidney

Patients with severe kidney disease may need dosage adjustments. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.



Liver

Patients with liver disease should use paracetamol with extreme caution and possibly avoid it completely, as they are at increased risk of liver damage. Consult a physician.
