Heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia)

Bleeding after surgery or trauma (postsurgical or post-traumatic bleeding)

Bleeding associated with dental procedures

Hereditary angioedema (in some cases)

Nexna Tx Tab (Tranexamic Acid) works by inhibiting the breakdown of blood clots. It does this by blocking the activity of plasminogen activators, which are enzymes that dissolve blood clots. By slowing down clot breakdown, tranexamic acid helps to control bleeding.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C). Protect from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage depends on the condition being treated and the patient's individual needs. Always follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

It's usually administered orally (tablets or capsules) or intravenously (by injection).

Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.

While Driving or operating Machinery

Tranexamic acid may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use only as directed by your doctor. Tranexamic acid may cross the placenta and may appear in breast milk; potential risks are not fully understood.



Children

Dosage is adjusted according to the child's weight and condition, under strict medical supervision.



Kidney

Caution is needed in patients with kidney impairment; dosage adjustments may be necessary.



Liver

Caution is needed in patients with liver impairment; dosage adjustments may be necessary.
