Cefoperazone Sodium

A cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Sulbactam

Sodium a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents the breakdown of cefoperazone by bacterial enzymes, enhancing its effectiveness.

Treatment of various bacterial infections, including intraabdominal infections, gynecological infections (e.g., pelvic inflammatory disease), skin and skin structure infections, and lower respiratory tract infections.

Treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Bacteroides fragilis, and others.

Cefoperazone inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Sulbactam inhibits beta-lactamases, enzymes produced by bacteria that can inactivate cefoperazone. This combination results in a broader spectrum of activity and enhanced efficacy against beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.

Store at controlled room temperature (20°C to 25°C). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiry date.
