Nebivolol

A beta-blocker that helps to slow down the heart rate and relax blood vessels.

Valsartan

An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that helps to relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.

Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure), especially in patients who have not adequately responded to monotherapy with either nebivolol or valsartan.

Prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with a history of myocardial infarction (heart attack).

Nebivolol works by blocking the effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline on the heart and blood vessels, reducing heart rate and blood pressure. Valsartan works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels, leading to lower blood pressure. The combination provides a synergistic effect in controlling blood pressure.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication according to your pharmacist's instructions.

Dosage should be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.

It is typically taken once daily, usually in the morning, with or without food.

Do not abruptly stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor. Sudden cessation can lead to adverse effects.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may enhance the hypotensive effects of the medication, increasing the risk of dizziness and fainting. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Patients should exercise caution, particularly during the initial stages of treatment, as dizziness or fatigue may occur.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or plan to breastfeed while taking this medication.



Children

The safety and effectiveness of this medication in children have not been established.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with impaired kidney function. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.



Liver

Caution is advised in patients with impaired liver function. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
