Indapamide

This is the active ingredient, a thiazide-like diuretic.

Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure), often in combination with other antihypertensive medications.

Treatment of mild to moderate heart failure (in combination with other medications).

Natrilix Tab (Indapamide) acts primarily by inhibiting sodium reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubule of the kidneys. This leads to increased excretion of sodium, chloride, and water, resulting in a reduction in blood volume and blood pressure. It also has mild vasodilatory effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Dosage should always be determined by a healthcare professional and will vary depending on individual needs and health status.

Common dosages range from 1.25mg to 2.5mg once daily.

It is typically taken orally with or without food.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using indapamide if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It's generally not recommended during pregnancy and may pass into breast milk.



Children

Generally not recommended for children unless under specific medical guidance.



Kidney
