Glimepiride

This is the active ingredient, a sulfonylurea medication that helps lower blood sugar levels.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus: Glimepiride is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes, particularly when diet and exercise alone are not enough.

Naspride 2mg Tablet (Glimepiride) works by stimulating the release of insulin from the pancreas. It also increases the sensitivity of insulin receptors in muscle and fat tissue, allowing better uptake of glucose from the bloodstream.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C) in a tightly closed container, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

It's typically taken once daily, usually with breakfast.
