This combination drug works by targeting different aspects of cold and allergy symptoms. Caffeine provides a stimulant effect, chlorpheniramine maleate blocks histamine (responsible for allergy symptoms), paracetamol reduces pain and fever, and phenylephrine reduces nasal congestion by constricting blood vessels.
