Narebox 2mg Tablet (Reboxetine) is a selective noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor (NRI). It works by increasing the levels of noradrenaline in the brain. Noradrenaline is a neurotransmitter that plays a role in mood regulation. By increasing noradrenaline levels, reboxetine helps to improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression.
Store reboxetine at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The usual starting dose is 4 mg once daily. Your doctor may adjust your dose based on your response to treatment.
Take reboxetine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more or less than prescribed or stop taking it without talking to your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food.
Serious side effects are rare but can include seizures, increased blood pressure, and suicidal thoughts or actions.
Common side effects include dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, headache, and insomnia.
Drinking alcohol while taking reboxetine can increase the risk of side effects. Talk to your doctor about how much alcohol is safe to consume while taking this medication.
Reboxetine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Reboxetine may harm an unborn baby. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking this medication. Reboxetine may pass into breast milk. If you are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking this medication.
Reboxetine is not approved for use in children.
Reboxetine may need to be adjusted if you have kidney problems.
Reboxetine may need to be adjusted if you have liver problems.
