Nadifloxacin

Is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic.

Nadifloxacin is used to treat bacterial infections in various parts of the body, including:

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Respiratory infections (e.g., pneumonia)

Skin and soft tissue infections

Eye infections (in the form of eye drops)

Nadiol Cream 10gm (Nadifloxacin) works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It does this by inhibiting an enzyme called DNA gyrase, which is essential for bacterial DNA replication and repair.

Store Nadifloxacin at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Nadifloxacin will vary depending on the type of infection being treated, the patient's age and weight, and other factors.

It is usually taken by mouth, but can also be administered intravenously (through a vein) or topically (as eye drops).

Always follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not take more or less than prescribed.

Common side effects of Nadifloxacin include:

Stomach pain

Headache

Dizziness

Rash

Itching

Vaginal yeast infection

Tendinitis (inflammation of a tendon)

Seizures (rare)

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of side effects from Nadifloxacin. It is best to avoid alcohol while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Nadifloxacin can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Nadifloxacin can harm an unborn baby. It is not recommended for pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks.



Children

The use of Nadifloxacin in children is not recommended, except under the supervision of a healthcare professional.



Kidney

People with kidney problems may need to adjust their dosage of Nadifloxacin or avoid taking it altogether.



Liver

People with liver problems may need to adjust their dosage of Nadifloxacin or avoid taking it altogether.
