Cefixime

Cefixime is a type of antibiotic called a cephalosporin.It works by killing bacteria that cause infections.

Cefixime is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including:

Mxime 200 Dt Tablet (Cefixime) works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall. This weakens the cell wall and ultimately causes the bacteria to die.

Store cefixime at room temperature, away from light and moisture.

It is important to take cefixime exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Cefixime is usually taken by mouth, with or without food.

Do not stop taking cefixime before completing the full course of treatment, even if you start to feel better.

If you miss a dose of cefixime, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time.

Alcohol Consumption
