Methylpolysiloxane acts by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, allowing them to coalesce and be more easily expelled. Mosapride increases the contractions of the stomach and intestines, accelerating gastric emptying and intestinal transit, thereby relieving symptoms of slow digestion and improving symptoms associated with decreased motility.
