Hydrochlorothiazide

A thiazide diuretic that helps your body get rid of excess salt and water.

Moxonidine

An alpha2-adrenergic agonist that helps lower blood pressure by reducing the activity of the sympathetic nervous system.

Treatment of mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure), particularly in patients who would benefit from the combined action of a diuretic and an alpha2agonist.

Hydrochlorothiazide increases the excretion of sodium and water in the kidneys, lowering blood volume and pressure. Moxonidine reduces sympathetic outflow, leading to decreased peripheral vascular resistance and heart rate, further lowering blood pressure. The combination provides a synergistic effect, often resulting in better blood pressure control than either drug alone.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
