Moxonidine

An alpha2-adrenergic agonist that helps lower blood pressure by reducing the activity of the sympathetic nervous system.

Amlodipine

A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow and lowering blood pressure.

Treatment of mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure), often used when other medications haven't been fully effective or as initial therapy in patients needing two medications.

Moxonidine reduces sympathetic outflow, leading to decreased peripheral vascular resistance and heart rate. Amlodipine inhibits the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells, causing vasodilation and reducing myocardial contractility, thus lowering blood pressure.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you, as dizziness or drowsiness can occur.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. The safety of moxonidine and amlodipine during pregnancy and breastfeeding hasn't been fully established.



Children
