Isosorbide Mononitrate

Prevention of angina (chest pain) in patients with coronary artery disease.

Treatment of chronic stable angina.

Monotrate Sr 30mg Tab (Isosorbide Mononitrate) is a long-acting nitrate that works by relaxing blood vessels, reducing the workload on the heart, and improving blood flow to the heart muscle. This reduces the frequency and severity of angina attacks.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage is determined by your doctor and varies depending on individual needs and response. It is usually taken once or twice daily.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change your dosage without consulting them.

Swallow the tablets whole with water; do not crush or chew them.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may enhance the hypotensive effects of isosorbide mononitrate; avoid excessive alcohol consumption.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using isosorbide mononitrate if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.



Children

Use in children is generally not recommended unless specifically directed by a physician.



Kidney
