Norfloxacin

A fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacteria.

Metronidazole

An antibiotic and antiprotozoal drug used to treat infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites.

Treatment of bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract (e.g., diarrhea, dysentery) where both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria are suspected.

Treatment of infections involving Helicobacter pylori (often in combination with other medications).

Norfloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing bacterial replication. Metronidazole disrupts DNA synthesis in anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Simethicone reduces gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, relieving bloating and discomfort.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C) away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

The usual dosage is typically one 5ml dose several times daily, depending on the specific infection and the physician's recommendation.

Complete the entire course of medication, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence of infection.

Children
