Mometasone Furoate

Salicylic Acid

A keratolytic agent that helps to soften and remove scales and plaques from the skin.

Treatment of plaque psoriasis

Treatment of eczema (atopic dermatitis) in adults and children aged 2 years and older.

Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis

Mometasone furoate reduces inflammation by suppressing the release of inflammatory mediators. Salicylic acid helps to remove the thickened, scaly skin associated with these conditions, allowing better penetration of the corticosteroid and improving skin appearance.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Apply a thin film to the affected area once or twice daily.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on the severity of the condition and patient's age.

Do not use on broken or infected skin.

Wash hands before and after application unless the hands are the affected area.

Skin thinning (atrophy) with prolonged use.

Stretch marks (striae).

Acne.

Increased skin sensitivity (especially to sunlight).

Skin discoloration (hypopigmentation).

Alcohol Consumption

No specific contraindications, but excessive alcohol use can affect overall health and potentially impair skin healing.



While Driving or operating Machinery

No significant impact on driving or operating machinery is expected.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use only as directed by a physician. Benefits should outweigh potential risks.



Children

Use only as directed by a physician. Safety and efficacy in children under 2 years (for some formulations) hasn't been fully established.



Kidney

No significant renal precautions, but caution should be exercised in patients with severe renal impairment.



Liver

No significant hepatic precautions, but caution should be exercised in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
