Pramipexole

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use during pregnancy is not recommended unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor. Pramipexole may pass into breast milk and may affect the nursing infant.



Children

Pramipexole is not generally recommended for use in children.



Kidney

Patients with kidney impairment may require dose adjustments. Kidney function should be monitored.



Liver

Pramipexole is primarily metabolized by the kidneys, so significant liver impairment usually does not require dose adjustments. However, always inform your doctor of any liver problems.
