Mirabegron

Mirabegron is the active ingredient in the medication.It is a beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist.

Mirabegron is used to treat overactive bladder (OAB) in adults.

OAB is a condition that causes a sudden urge to urinate, frequent urination, and possibly leakage of urine.

Mirabegron Extended-Release Tablets 25 Mg (Mirabegron) works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder, making it easier to hold urine and reducing the urge to urinate.

Store Mirabegron at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C).

The usual starting dose of Mirabegron is 50 mg once daily.

Your doctor may adjust your dose based on your response to treatment.

Take Mirabegron with a full glass of water.

You can take Mirabegron with or without food.

The most common side effect of Mirabegron is dry mouth.

Other possible side effects include constipation, headache, and dizziness.

Alcohol Consumption

Drinking alcohol while taking Mirabegron may increase the risk of side effects.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Mirabegron may cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It is not known if Mirabegron is safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits before taking Mirabegron.



Children

Mirabegron is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

Your doctor may need to adjust your dose of Mirabegron if you have kidney problems.



Liver

Your doctor may need to adjust your dose of Mirabegron if you have liver problems.
