Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose

Moxifloxacin

A fluoroquinolone antibiotic that fights against a wide range of bacterial infections.

Treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis)

Moxifloxacin, the active pharmaceutical ingredient, inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for bacterial DNA replication and repair. This leads to bacterial cell death. HPMC plays no direct role in the antimicrobial effect, but improves the delivery and stability of moxifloxacin.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Dosage and frequency should be strictly as prescribed by a physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

The medication may be taken with or without food.
