Migrabeta Tr 60 Tab (Propranolol) works by blocking the effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline, hormones that stimulate the heart and blood vessels. This helps to slow down the heart rate, lower blood pressure, and reduce the workload on the heart.

Store propranolol at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not flush unused medication down the toilet or pour it into the drain unless instructed to do so by your healthcare provider.

Propranolol is typically taken by mouth with or without food.

Do not stop taking propranolol without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better.

Serious side effects: allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, vision changes, and mental health changes.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of side effects from propranolol. Avoid alcohol while taking propranolol.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Propranolol can cause dizziness, drowsiness, and blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Propranolol can pass into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before taking propranolol if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Propranolol is not typically prescribed for children unless under the care of a specialist.



Kidney

People with kidney problems may need a lower dose of propranolol.
