Mometasone Furoate

Mometasone furoate is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids.

Treatment of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults and children 2 years of age and older.

Treatment of nasal polyps in adults.

Treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (including symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, and congestion).

Metaspray Nasal Spray 10gm (Mometasone Furoate) works by reducing inflammation in the nasal passages. It is a topical corticosteroid that acts locally within the nose to decrease the release of substances that cause inflammation, such as histamine.

Store this medication at room temperature between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Keep the bottle tightly closed. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze.

Use this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed.

Use the nasal spray as directed by your doctor. Follow the instructions carefully.

It is important to use this medication regularly as prescribed, even if you feel better. Do not stop using it without talking to your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

There are no known interactions between mometasone furoate and alcohol.
