This medication works by lowering blood pressure through three different mechanisms:

Store this medication at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

The usual starting dose is one tablet per day.

Your doctor may adjust your dose based on your response to treatment.

Take this medication with a full glass of water.

You can take this medication with or without food.

Do not stop taking this medication without talking to your doctor.

Common side effects include dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, fatigue, and cough.

Alcohol Consumption

Drinking alcohol while taking this medication can increase the risk of side effects, such as dizziness and lightheadedness.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness or lightheadedness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits.



Children

This medication is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

If you have kidney problems, your doctor may need to adjust your dose of this medication.



Liver

If you have liver problems, your doctor may need to adjust your dose of this medication.
