Tibolone

Is a synthetic steroid hormone that mimics the effects of estrogen and progesterone.

The usual dosage of Tibolone is 2.5 mg taken once daily.

Common side effects of Tibolone include headaches, breast tenderness, weight gain, and mood swings.

More serious side effects are possible, including blood clots, stroke, and heart attack.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of side effects from Tibolone.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Tibolone may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Tibolone is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It can harm an unborn baby.



Children

Tibolone is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

Tibolone may be used with caution in individuals with kidney problems.



Liver

Tibolone may be used with caution in individuals with liver problems.
