Matbenz 1md Tablet (Lorazepam) belongs to a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It works by enhancing the effects of a neurotransmitter called GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the brain. GABA has calming and relaxing effects, which helps to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and control seizures.

Store Lorazepam at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Lorazepam is usually taken by mouth, with or without food.
