Manitab-Sr Tablet (Lithium Carbonate) works by balancing certain chemicals in the brain that are involved in regulating mood, thought, and behavior.

Store lithium carbonate at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Your doctor will determine the correct dose for you, based on your age, weight, medical condition, and response to treatment.

Lithium carbonate is typically taken by mouth, usually once or twice a day.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change your dose without consulting your doctor.

Common side effects may include:

Nausea

Blurred vision.

Muscle weakness

Confusion

Drowsiness

Irregular heartbeat

Seizures

Swelling in the hands, ankles, or feet

Severe stomach pain

Skin rash

Difficulty breathing.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid consuming alcohol while taking lithium carbonate, as it can increase the risk of side effects and interact with the medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Lithium carbonate can cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
