Treatment of serious infections caused by bacteria susceptible to cefepime and tazobactam.
Used for infections affecting the lungs (pneumonia), skin, urinary tract, and abdomen.

Cefepime works by killing bacteria by interfering with their ability to build cell walls. Tazobactam prevents certain bacteria from breaking down cefepime, allowing it to work more effectively.
