Levosulpiride

A dopamine antagonist that primarily acts on the mesolimbic pathway, improving symptoms of nausea and vomiting.

Rabeprazole

A proton pump inhibitor (ppi) that inhibits the production of gastric acid, relieving symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux.

Treatment of nausea and vomiting, particularly associated with gastrointestinal disorders.

Relief of symptoms related to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), such as heartburn, acid reflux, and dyspepsia.

Levosulpiride acts by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain, primarily in the mesolimbic pathway, which regulates nausea and vomiting. Rabeprazole inhibits the enzyme H+/K+-ATPase, responsible for acid secretion in the stomach, thereby reducing gastric acid production.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Levosulpiride + Rabeprazole is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical condition. It is typically taken orally, once daily, with or without food.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not alter your dosage without consulting them.

Do not stop taking the medication abruptly without your doctor's advice.

Serious side effects: liver problems, allergic reactions, severe stomach pain, bone fractures (with long-term use of PPIs). If you experience any severe or unusual side effects, contact your doctor immediately.

Common side effects: headache, dizziness, constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, abdominal pain.

Less common side effects: dry mouth, insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, skin rash, itching, hair loss.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of side effects, especially gastrointestinal issues. It's advisable to limit or avoid alcohol intake while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. It's recommended to avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for pregnant women unless the potential benefit outweighs the risk to the fetus. Consult your doctor for guidance. Levosulpiride and rabeprazole may pass into breast milk and may affect a breastfeeding infant. Consult your doctor about the risks and benefits of breastfeeding while taking this medication.



Children

The safety and efficacy of Levosulpiride + Rabeprazole in children have not been established. Do not administer this medication to children unless directed by a doctor.



Kidney

Kidney disease may affect the elimination of this medication. Your doctor may adjust the dosage based on your kidney function.



Liver

Liver disease may affect the metabolism of this medication. Your doctor may adjust the dosage based on your liver function.
