Levosulpiride

An antipsychotic medication that works by increasing the activity of dopamine, a neurotransmitter in the brain.

Pantoprazole

A proton pump inhibitor (ppi) that reduces the production of stomach acid.

Treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with functional dyspepsia (indigestion).

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with associated heartburn and acid regurgitation.

Treatment of peptic ulcer disease (PUD).

Levosulpiride acts as a dopamine receptor agonist, increasing the release of dopamine in the brain, which helps to reduce nausea and vomiting. Pantoprazole inhibits the production of gastric acid by blocking the proton pump in the stomach, thereby reducing heartburn, acid reflux, and ulcer symptoms.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage and frequency of administration will vary depending on the individual patient's needs and the condition being treated. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions carefully.

The medication is usually taken orally, with or without food.

The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.

Common side effects include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, and abdominal pain.

Less common side effects include restlessness, anxiety, insomnia, confusion, tremor, muscle stiffness, and blurred vision.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of side effects, especially drowsiness. It is best to avoid alcohol while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Levosulpiride can cause drowsiness and dizziness, so it is best to avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication should only be used during pregnancy if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. It is not known if levosulpiride passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of breastfeeding while taking this medication.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 18 years of age unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.



Kidney
