Human insulin

Human insulin is a protein hormone identical to that produced naturally in the body.Different insulin formulations may contain varying concentrations of human insulin and additional components like preservatives (e.g., phenol, m-cresol), stabilizers (e.g., zinc, glycerol), and buffers to adjust pH.

Type 1 diabetes mellitus: To manage blood sugar levels in individuals whose bodies do not produce insulin.
