Artemether rapidly kills the asexual erythrocytic stages of Plasmodium falciparum malaria parasites. Lumefantrine acts more slowly, preventing parasite replication and prolonging the antimalarial effect. The combination provides a synergistic effect, increasing efficacy and reducing the risk of parasite resistance.
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

The treatment course usually involves taking the medication for three days, at specified intervals.
