Atorvastatin blocks an enzyme in the liver that produces cholesterol (HMG-CoA reductase). Fenofibrate helps lower cholesterol levels by increasing the breakdown and removal of cholesterol from the body.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of Atorvastatin + Fenofibrate will vary depending on your individual needs and medical history.

It is usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you.

Do not stop taking this medication without first talking to your doctor.

Increased risk of type 2 diabetes (especially in people with a family history of diabetes)

Rarely, serious side effects such as rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown) can occur.

Muscle aches, pain, or weakness (myopathy)

Liver problems (hepatitis)

Gastrointestinal problems (e.g., nausea, diarrhea, constipation)

Headache

Rash

Alcohol Consumption

May increase the risk of liver problems. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

May cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution while driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor for advice.



Children

Not recommended for children unless directed by a doctor.



Kidney

May be used with caution in patients with kidney problems.



Liver

May be used with caution in patients with liver problems. Regular liver function tests may be required.
