Atorvastatin Atorvastatin inhibits the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is responsible for producing cholesterol in the liver. This leads to a decrease in the production of cholesterol and a reduction in LDL (bad) cholesterol levels in the blood. It also increases HDL (good) cholesterol levels.Vitamin D3 Vitamin D3 is converted to its active form in the body, calcitriol, which helps the intestines absorb calcium. Calcium is essential for bone health, muscle function, and other important processes in the body.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Atorvastatin + Vitamin D3 will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical history.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

Children

This medication is not typically recommended for children.



Kidney

People with kidney problems may need a lower dose of this medication. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function.



Liver

People with liver problems may not be able to take this medication. Your doctor will monitor your liver function.
