Levosul 50mg Tab (Levosulpiride) is a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist. It primarily affects the dopamine system in the brain, reducing nausea and vomiting by blocking dopamine receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone and gastrointestinal tract. Its action on depression and schizophrenia is less fully understood but involves modulation of dopamine and other neurotransmitter systems.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication according to your pharmacist's or doctor's instructions.
Dosage will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and condition.

Do not increase or decrease the dosage without consulting your doctor.
Take the medication as directed, usually with or without food, as instructed by your physician.

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking levosulpiride, as it may increase the risk of drowsiness and other side effects.
Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how levosulpiride affects you, as it may cause drowsiness.
Consult your doctor before taking levosulpiride if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
Use in children should only be under strict medical supervision.
Patients with kidney problems may require dosage adjustments; your doctor will advise you appropriately.
