Lethyrox 12.5mg Tab 50s (Levothyroxine) is a synthetic form of thyroxine (T4), a hormone naturally produced by the thyroid gland. It replaces the missing or insufficient T4 in individuals with hypothyroidism. Once in the body, levothyroxine is converted to triiodothyronine (T3), the active form of the hormone, which then regulates metabolism, growth, and development.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children. Discard expired medication properly.

Dosage is individualized and determined by a doctor based on factors such as age, weight, and the severity of hypothyroidism.

Typically taken orally once daily, usually on an empty stomach (30-60 minutes before breakfast).

Do not crush or chew tablets; swallow whole with water.

Regular blood tests (TSH levels) are necessary to monitor thyroid hormone levels and adjust dosage as needed.

Kidney

Generally safe; adjustment may be needed in cases of severe kidney disease.
