Levofloxacin

A fluoroquinolone antibiotic that fights bacteria by preventing them from multiplying.

Infections of the urinary tract, including cystitis and pyelonephritis.

Infections of the abdomen, including peritonitis.

Infections caused by certain parasites, such as giardiasis and amebiasis.

Levofloxacin targets bacteria by interfering with their DNA replication, preventing their growth and multiplication. Ornidazole works by disrupting the DNA of parasites, leading to their destruction.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.

The dosage and duration of treatment will vary depending on the specific infection being treated, the patient's age, weight, and overall health.

It is typically taken orally with a glass of water, usually once or twice daily.

It's crucial to follow your doctor's prescribed dosage and complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better before finishing the medication.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor, as this may lead to resistance and recurrence of the infection.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Levofloxacin + Ornidazole should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless absolutely necessary. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.



Kidney
